Your new Enterprise Agreement – approved and in effect!

Congratulations, the Fair Work Commission has approved your new enterprise agreement, and it is in effect from today!

The agreement was only approved after the HSU pressed for further undertakings, to ensure your agreement met the standards required.

Those undertakings included improvements to the entitlement for reimbursement of kilometres travelled.

Key improvements of the new Agreement are:

  • Increase in wages to bring them 4 per cent above current Award rates.
  • A 2.5 per cent increase on 1 July 2024
  • Another 2.5 per cent increase on 1 July 2025
  • Agreement to expire in August 2025
  • A new classification structure that aligns closer to the Award
  • Predictable hours for part-timers before commencing employment.
  • An increase in Paid Maternity Leave from nine weeks to 10 weeks
  • Introduction of an ‘Investigative Procedure’ that clearly outlines disciplinary process, having proper regard for procedural fairness.
