ACT Health: Consultation on draft discussion paper - ACTPS Broadband Classifications

ACT Health have advised about Consultation on draft discussion paper - ACTPS Broadband Classifications.

Classification Broadbands within the ACTPS employment framework are provided for under the terms of relevant Enterprise Agreements. Broadbands are intended to provide benefits to employees and employers in the removal of hard barriers to promotion, greater flexibility for positions to align with business needs, and a means to attract, train and retain suitably qualified employees in specialised roles.

The current application of broadbanding under the ACTPS Enterprise Agreements demonstrates a varied approach across the service, with relevant provisions often specific to individual Directorates and/or roles outlined in the reference table (Attachment A).
