Anglicare acquisition: Have your say today!

Anglicare has recently acquired “The Terraces”, PAC’s residential care home in Paddington.

Anglicare is proposing to move existing staff from your current enterprise agreement to the Anglican Community Services Enterprise Agreement 2017 and is seeking orders from the Fair Work Commission to do this.

As part of this process, the Fair Work Commission must take into account the views of employees – so we want to hear from you about the proposed change.

HSU representatives have reviewed the proposal and have met with Anglicare management.

The majority of classifications’ rates of pay are higher under Anglicare’s agreement. However, for the few classifications whose rate of pay is higher under the old Presbyterian agreement, Anglicare has given a clear commitment that they will continue paying the higher rate so no-one will receive a pay cut.

The Anglicare enterprise agreement can be viewed at this link. Please review the proposed enterprise agreement carefully, and if you have any specific concerns about the change, please let us know here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/28N6PQ9

Please share any feedback on the proposed change by 5pm Wednesday 27 October 2023.

If you have any questions, please contact your HSU Organiser.

If your colleagues are not yet HSU members, please encourage them to join online at www.hsu.asn.au/join to have their say.
