Catholic Healthcare doesn't want to negotiate

Catholic Healthcare has written to the Health Services Union about its intentions to “rollover” your wages and conditions for the next 12 months, offering a yet unknown pay rise with no other changes. Management have stated that they’ve come to this conclusion due to the uncertainty in the aged care sector.

It’s fair to say that this has been the way many aged care providers have viewed negotiations over the last 12 months. However, the difference is many of those already came with a wage offer and some commitments about bargaining in the future.

Ultimately the decision to bargain is up to you and your colleagues – not Catholic Healthcare management.

What do you think?

Do you want to bargain?

What pay rise do you think is acceptable?
