Check your payslip to ensure you’re getting the CORRECT Sunday rates!

Dear Member,

HSU members at Nazareth recently raised concerns regarding the payment of Sunday penalty rates and difficulty in checking leave entitlements.

The issue has been raised with Nazareth Care management and the following information was received in response:

  1. If staff are accessing their payslips on the iChris app, their leave accruals are displayed for both annual and long service leave (if they have an entitlement accrued).  Further to this, Payroll send a backup email to personal email addresses of payslips, although this format is without headers so not user friendly. We encourage all staff to use the app, as it is clear.  We will send out a reminder to all staff in Tamworth on how to download the app onto their phone so they can access their pay slips online, to support your query.   We trust this will resolve the issue for them.
  2. The payroll team will be applying the Sunday penalty rates in line with the Tamworth Enterprise Agreements.  You can contact our Payroll Manager, Marc Horler, on [E-Mail not displayed]for further information relating to payroll.

If you believe you have not been paid correctly, in the first instance please contact your payroll manager using the above details.

If, after raising the concern in writing to payroll there are still discrepancies, please contact your local HSU organiser at [E-Mail not displayed]
