Lumus Bargaining Pay Offer is a Pay Cut

  • Published July 20, 2022

Bargaining is underway with Lumus providing an initial proposal for a new classification structure and wage rates.

The HSU has completed a preliminary analysis of the proposed wages in comparison to the Health Professional and Support Services Award and competitor, I-Med. This analysis is indictive only and may differ from any analysis completed by Lumus.

Please see summary of Lumus’ proposal:

  •  In the first year of the agreement, some levels would receive a different percentage increase while some would not receive any;
  • In the second and third years of the agreement, the proposal for wage increases would be 2.5%; and
  • The reclassification process will be automatic and be similar to other ad hoc reclassification requests by sitting between operational management and human resources. Part of this process, Lumus will advise employees of any changes to their classification in writing.

This pay offer is unacceptable and is a pay cut to all our members who have worked so hard throughout the pandemic.

The HSU requests feedback from our members on the proposed classification structure and the definitions along with the wage’s proposal. You can provide feedback by email to the Private Health Division at [E-Mail not displayed] with Subject line Lumus Imaging.
