North Coast Radiology Group: Do you accept the NEW PAY OFFER?

IMPORTANT: HAVE YOUR SAY IN THE SURVEY BELOW

HSU members at NCRG/Clarence Valley Imaging have been campaigning for a fair pay rise that keeps up with the cost of living. A Protected Action Ballot was successfully voted up last week and members were due to commence approved protected action from Monday 18 September.

Today, HSU representatives appeared before the Fair Work Commission because NCRG claimed members were conducting unprotected action.

Subsequently, with the assistance of the Commission, management has now put forward a new offer outlined below:

  • 4% backpay to 1 July 2022
  • 4% from 1 July 2023
  • From 1 July 2024 – A minimum of 3% or CPI up to 5%, whichever is higher
  • From 1 July 2025 – A minimum of 3% or CPI up to 5%, whichever is higher

The table at this link is a guide for how the pay offer would affect you.

What do you think? Make sure to have your say on the new pay offer via the HSU survey here. The survey closes at 10:30am, tomorrow Friday 15 September 2023.

The Fair Work Commission wants to know the position of HSU members prior to 12pm, Friday 15 September.

If you and your colleagues choose to reject the new pay offer and want to continue with protected action, that is your choice and you will be fully supported in doing so.

If members reject the new offer, the Fair Work Commission has set a new hearing time of 4pm, Friday 15 September, to hear the employer’s claims of unprotected action.

This improved offer has only happened because HSU members stood together and demanded better. If you know someone who isn’t in our union, tell them to join today at www.hsu.asn.au/join or call 1300 HSU NSW.
