St Basil's: HSU members collecting signatures in your workplace!

HSU members met last week to discuss the recent No vote at St Basil’s.

Members decided to write to St Basil’s for an immediate continuation of bargaining that involves a better pay offer.

St Basil’s has not yet contacted us with an improved offer.

What’s next?

HSU members have also endorsed a resolution to collect signatures on a petition to demand a fair wage offer from management.

Bargaining for an enterprise agreement is about power, and whether that power is with the bosses or union members.

Members have already demonstrated that they won’t accept an insulting pay offer from St Basil’s. That took strength and determination. But we need to stay active and united to make sure we get a better deal.

HSU organisers and delegates will be in the workplace over the coming weeks with petitions. Make sure you put your signature down to make your voice heard.

The greater our numbers, the stronger our fight. Let’s stick together and push for a better outcome! If your colleagues are not yet HSU members, they can join online at www.hsu.asn.au/join today.

HSU members will be kept up to date as negotiations progress.
