Last Friday and this Monday, St Elizabeth management held meetings for staff to explain that they are intending to reduce your roster and why. However, during these meetings, it wasn’t explained how this would affect you individually.
What was clear was that with a reduction in the roster, there will come a reduction in shifts. For some staff, this means a loss of employment.
Management have indicated they will not be approaching staff individually prior to putting out the new roster on 4 July but will leave it up to staff to ask them for a meeting.
The HSU advises its members to ask for an individual meeting with management to see where you stand in the new roster.
