Update on Lifehouse Enterprise Agreements before voting!

Since our last newsletter, in relation to the Lifehouse Health Professionals and Support Services Agreement, Lifehouse has agreed to the additional conditions following from our Log of Claims:

  • Amend rest breaks clause to a minimum of 10 hour between ordinary rostered shifts or eight hours by mutual agreement; and
  • Increase penalties for night shift commencing at or after 4am and before 6am from 10% to 15%

Lifehouse has notified the HSU that both the Lifehouse Medical Physicist and Lifehouse Health Professionals and Support Services Agreements will be going to a vote in the coming weeks. Please see timeframe provided below:

  • Access Period commences on Monday, 8 August 2022
  • Ballot opens at 9am on Tuesday 16 August 2022
  • Ballot closes at 4pm on Monday 22 August 2022

Please see below the summary of the new conditions for each Agreement:

Lifehouse Medical Physicist

  • 3% Wage Increase for each year of the 2-year term;
  • 0.5% increase to Superannuation Guarantee;
  • 3% increases to Allowances;
  • Removal of Annual Leave Cap;
  • Increase of Paid Partner Leave to 2 weeks;
  • A statutory declaration is considered as an agreed form of evidence relating to Domestic and Family Violence leave.

Lifehouse Health Professionals and Support Services

  • 3% Wage Increase for each year of the 2-year term;
  • 0.5% increase to Superannuation Guarantee;
  • 3% increases to Allowances;
  • Increase of Paid Partner Leave to 2 weeks;
  • A statutory declaration is considered as an agreed form of evidence relating to Domestic and Family Violence leave;
  • Night shift penalty increase to 15% for shifts commencing at or after 4am and before 6am;
  • A minimum of 10 hours between ordinary rostered shifts or eight hours by mutual agreement.
