Following an email from Human Resources at Catholic Healthcare, we have received various queries from Lifestyle and Leisure members at Catholic Healthcare regarding whether they will be included in the Work Value increase.
The email excluded Lifestyle Coordinators from the list of classifications who are covered by the FWC decision to deliver a 15% increase to the award rate of pay. Lifestyle Assistants were already included in this list.
The HSU wrote to Catholic Healthcare seeking a correction to this announcement because Lifestyle Coordinators should be included in the Work Value increase. Catholic Healthcare have now clarified that Lifestyle Coordinators will be included in the Work Value increase.
Your exact pay increase will depend on how much you are paid above the relevant modern award rate. The interim increase will come into effect from the first full pay period on or from 30 June 2023.
