Your Cranbrook Care EBA – Approved and in effect!

Congratulations, the Fair Work Commission has approved your new enterprise agreement and it is in now in effect!

The agreement was only approved after the HSU pressed Arcare for further undertakings, to ensure your agreement met the standards required.

Those undertakings included improvements giving better conditions for Overtime.

Other key improvements of the new Agreement are:

  • New wage deal, for 2024, 2025, and 2026
  • 5 per cent per anum
  • Improved parental leave, increased from to 10 weeks top up pay for the primary carer
  • Predictable hours confirmed in contracts before commencing employment.
  • Improved Saturday overtime rates for aged care employees – increased to 200% for all hours worked.
  • Paid leave for union delegates

Your new agreement was the effort of HSU members across all Cranbrook Care sites. When members stand strong together, we can make real improvements at work.
