Your Rights to consultation - Roster Change at Thomas Roseby

You have the right to be properly consulted about major workplace change- and that includes the right to discuss and engage with your union representatives.

According to clause 47 of the Uniting Enterprise Agreement, if your employer has made a definite decision to introduce a major change such as roster change or restructuring, they must notify relevant employees and their representatives, including your Union.

Management have now admitted Uniting failed to formally advise of changes and confirmed they will “revisit the consultation process to address any specific concerns with impacted staff members”.

HSU Members at Thomas Roseby met on Teams at 4pm on Monday 21 August 2023 to discuss the proper procedure, your rights, and our next steps. If you have questions or concerns but can’t make it to the meeting, contact your HSU Organiser on [E-Mail not displayed].
