Applications for the second round of grants from the HSU Indigenous Development Fund close this Friday 10 December.

The HSU established the Indigenous Development Fund to contribute to the education of Indigenous people, assist with the provisions of health services in Indigenous communities, and further any other program that benefits Indigenous communities. It is our view that a modern trade union must act socially, not just industrially. We are proud to support our communities and members through initiatives such as this.

The Indigenous Development Fund may grant funding between $2,000.00 and up to $10,000.00 for the implementation of a community-based project. Projects should be completed between February 2022 and June 30, 2022. Applications are invited from community-based organisations working with Indigenous communities in the ACT, NSW and QLD.
